and overpaint it to create three versions, demonstrating styles
of different art periods.

Students research famous people related to a
topic of study (Black History Week, Presidents,
Genetics, etc.). They determine categories of
information to include, research a person, summarize
their findings and create a slide presentation

of questions on a topic, interview subjects to
obtain the answers and create a book of responses.

on poetry, and simply provides another motivational
device for involving students in writing poetry.

Students digitize a picture of a famous event
in history and use Corel PHOTO-PAINT? to put
themselves into the picture. Then they write
a narrative of their role in the event. This
is a good way to get students involved in the
study of specific events, or can be used as an
end-of-unit summary activity.
